What Happens When I Donate?

Donations sent to BECA go directly to the local schools and students, covering education fees and tuition. Some scholarships may also cover uniforms, school supplies, backpacks, field trips, and enrichment classes such as typing and music. In a few cases, BECA scholarship funds include food delivery to the student's family to ensure sufficient nutrition for health and the ability to study.

Current student support costs:

• Primaria (elementary): $200/year

• B​ásico (junior high): $350/year

• Carrera (high school): $600/year

• Universidad (college): $1,400/year

We combine partial scholarships to make sure we have the full amount needed for each child. Every donation adds up for a successful program!​

Ideally, funds will be received before we leave for Guatemala on November 1st.
